AI x CI x DX - The role of AI in competitive intelligence to support digital transformation

We live in a VUCA (Volatile, Uncertain, Complex, and Ambiguous) world where the only constant is change and information overload is leading to paralysis analysis.

Competitive Intelligence (CI) provides the decision-making support critical for an organization’s sustained performance. It is thus a must for both business executives who need to navigate the competitive environment successfully, and researchers who long to develop impactful scientific impact. Artificial Intelligence (AI) provides the much-needed tools and techniques to deal with the advent of big data, namely with user-generated content, allowing CI professionals to make sense of social data and guarantee customer-centricity. As such, AI is a pivotal enabler in CI’s support role in digital transformation, one of the greatest challenges in the current zeitgeist. This workshop will provide an overview of the drivers, the role, and the applications of AI within CI to solve such challenges.
