Gregor Strojin is the Chair of the Ad Hoc Committee on Artificial Intelligence at the Council of Europe (CAHAI). Gregor is a bar qualified lawyer (Ljubljana) with an LL.M. In International and Comparative Law and a specialization in Information Technology and Intellectual Property Law (Chicago Kent), and extensive experience in the crossroads of technology, information and law, both from theoretical, policy and practice perspectives.
Primarily working with the Supreme Court of Slovenia since 2002, Gregor has contributed to many acclaimed transformation and optimization projects improving the effectiveness, quality and access to justice. He also served as the State Secretary at the Ministry of Justice of Slovenia, was a member of the national Statistical Council, is a member of the European Commission for the Efficiency of Justice (CEPEJ) and its CYBERJUST working group, and collaborates with various organisations on technology and information related policy issues and development.
